Howdy Y'all!

Welcome to Dunklee Travels and our trip to the West Coast.  To say we are blogger greenhorns is an understatement, but join us as we take baby steps to share our trek from Maine to Portland, Oregon, down the California coast, to Sonoma and Napa, and - if we ever decide to leave wine country - back to Maine through Chicago (and a visit with Rob and Emily).  

This blog begins on Day 3.  Day 1 took us to Vermont with a fab. lunch/visit with Becky, Dick, and Chris Howarth.  Didn't know I was going to do a blog so didn't take pictures.  Note to self ---!

Day 2:  Travel - travel - travel.    Still no pictures - the Super 8 provided few possibilities.

Day 3:  Trying to make Moorhead, Wisconsin - about a 10-hour journey - so more travel - BUT our farmer selves love mile after mile of corn fields - gorgeous green and growing.  Passed through Chicago and hated not to see Rob, but he is BUSY with work, and we will see him on the return trip.
