Days 9 &10

A "2-Fer"

  We made it!  The Conestoga (code for Passat that got 45+ mpg shore to shore) completed its transcontinental trek to Portland, Oregon on Day 9 - Thursday - July 9.
We are now with other Wawenock forever friends - Joanne and Les Fong and Misae Kameya, Joanne's mother.  We share sooo many memories from our days at 

Camp Wawenock!

To expedite this double-day dose of description, I will throw out several highlights and end with a photo collage.

• Stopped by Multnomah Falls - another one of Mother Nature's spectacles.
• Explored the Portland Rose Garden.  Did you know that Portland is called the City of Roses?
